Mr.Suffolk here it is off the press. Binder is charged with 1ct. of 2nd degree bribe receiving, 2cts of offering a false instrument for filing, and 1ct of
official misconduct. They have charged him with receiving 10,000.00 over 4 years from Global Golf a golf course in Northport.

What about the 10G's paid to Steve Israel ? | ||
|
He's returning the money because he doesn't want any impropiety ?
Becareful of Paulie his lucrative jobs with water districts shows how deep corruption is all over the Island for our past and present politicians. Who kicked the business out of running the Crab Meadow Golf Course and their restaurant some years back ? Wasn't that another scandal in the Petrone and Israel administration ? |

sansdoute, nice try on making this Republican scandal smear s Democrat. Here is the difference along with a definition differential for the crime of bribe
taking verses a campaign contribution. The Republican, Binder is charged with receiving bribes over a period of time. That is money in his pocket for whatever
he wants, tax dodged as well because there is no form for Bribe income on the Federal or State Returns. Now, Congressman Israels campaign received a donation,
money that is for campaigning not available for personal use. If you feel otherwise I can introduce you to Republican Pete McGowan who will enlighten you
otherwise. Israel has been informed that this party has bribed an official in this case Republican Alan Binder. He need not return anything because he received
no bribes but because of the now known illegal behavior of the company, Israel is doing the ETHICAL thing and returning the donation. Too bad Republican Norm
Coleman in MN is not returning all that Republican Ted Stevens and Jack Abramoff money! I guess Republicans only return illegal money, not money that becomes
known as unethical. So we have a Democrat doing the right thing and another corrupt Republican about to wear the stripes without the stars.

I think I get it. There's two types of bribery. One type of bribery is legal and one isn't. With one type of bribery you go to jail, and with the other
type you get to return the money and call it a day. Makes perfect sense.
