OK, I'll bite. The last I heard it was Pat Vecchio - is he ill? Who I think is TRYING to run Smithtown is Tom Spota, via his candidate of his choice. Tom is trying like hell to work something up against Vecchio to oust him from office.

You do remember LaValle? When LaValle withdrew from the race, the door was left open for Foley to come walking through. You can see Tom Spota standing in the background with a big s... eating grin while Foley was making his thank you speech to his supporters.

No mention yet of Nolan being investigated for taking illegal campaign donations.
