I can't believe what a dump Southampton Hospital has become. The long wait (with very few people in the waiting) in the ER is a disgrace. When you are
finally seen they really drag their heels with the result being, it could be this or it could be that as a diagnosis. Go to one of the very popular Nassau
County Hospital's where you get fast results and a correct diagnosis.

You must remember your place in this Country when you are a citizen or legal resident. The hospital needs to take care of illegal aliens! I too have been to
this hospital and know the comings and goings of patients.

Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers. This hospital is a joke. My unpleasant experience involved an out patient surgical biopsy for which I had an
appt. and medical insurance to cover the cost. I waited two hours plus for the procedure. I was told by MD doing the biopsy that he was delayed because of high
volume of patients in the ER. I guess there were tons of emergency biopsies that day. PS, the tissue samples taken from me were too small for the pathologist
to render an opinion. Nice job, right?

I don't think I've spent much time there since my daughter was born 11 years ago, but I always liked the place. It's kind of homey. You're
saying it's taken a nosedive since then?

Perhaps your life may be saved there by an ER physician , just pray you get one who is competent.

Don't ER doctors suck in pretty much every smalltown hospital?

Not always.I have had good experiences at PBMC. And I've been in rooms there that needed a thorough viral type cleansing. I have also been in premier NYC
hospitals that were one step short of dirty and the so called "best of the best" doctors were more interested in their bottom line and professional
image then the aftermath of the non results of their highly touted skills.
