Just close down one lane for 100 yards, and that's all that was needed. Not rerouting everyone through endless backroads.
Whenever there's an accident in town, it takes forever for traffic to get flowing again.

Stalling up traffic for hours. This morning was totally ridiculous -- over a non-fatality, pole down.

A fatal is one thing. I handled enough of them as a state police investigator. However, personal injury-non fatality accidents don't merit massive tie-ups of traffic. A non-fatality which may become a fatality has to be handled as a fatal. Others shouldn't be a reason to block off roads. Traffic flow is bad enough already. |

Yeah, keep traffic flowing. How much does it hurt the economy if 10,000 people are late for work?
This was a non-fatality. Not even close, from what I've heard.
