This morning was totally ridiculous -- over a non-fatality, pole down. Just close down one lane for 100 yards, and that's all that was needed. Not rerouting everyone through endless backroads. I handled enough of them as a state police investigator. However, personal injury-non fatality accidents don't merit massive tie-ups of traffic. A non-fatality which may become a fatality has to be handled as a fatal. Others shouldn't be a reason to block off roads. Traffic flow is bad enough already.
