You're right, but the presiding officer Yaturo has already stated that corbin is innocent until proven guilty and will remain. I think this will change but Corbin may decide to ride it out. I understand that he signed a paper admitting his guilt and lying to an officer, that may be why Fred Brewington who was his lawyer is not representing him. Only time will tell. Stay tuned same channel, same time. We will see what happens tomorrow. This is a culmination of a 4 year investigation here on Long Island, I wonder how many other politicians heads will fall. It is a strong Democrat district. Rumor has it that Jay Jacobs has already made up his mind to nominate someone else. Corbin will probably primary him. I don't think that district will turn republican even if corbin wins a primary.

Roger Corbin now has his attorney trying to get the Federal government to drop charges and take him in a civil manner. The only thing wrong with this is that he lied to federal agents and the underlying question has not been answered. Why was Roger Corbin given 226,000.00 from a developer on a federal project in his district? Was it so he could take short cuts or maybe because he only got the job when pressed for the money. Regardless of the reason Roger took the money and spent it on himself and his family. It also brings up the questions of was this the first time for corbin? How many times has he done this? Time for a real investigation.

Roger was offered a good deal and turned it down, He will be sorry he did that. The other unanswered question is why did this contractor give him monies? Was he bought off? Was it to turn a blind eye? Roger its over, you are the only one that does not see it.

Roger please answer the questions. Why did you lie not once but three times to federal agents if you were not guilty? Why did you accept 226,000 from a federal contractor doing a job in the district you represent? If you stick with what you told the newsday reporter , isn't that also a conflict of interest? Roger do everyone a favor, take the deal and go away quietly.
