Hail Mary? | ||

I would love to see Zeldin run for supervisor or the 6th CD but that wouldn't happen. I don't see how P64 could call this a hail mary since it would be the change of course the Republicans are looking for in their own party and frankly a lot of swing voters have been waiting to see also. I know you actually think the independents actually buy into your liberal theology, however the fact is the Democrats have been putting up better candidates than the GOP. It is not the substance of your theology they vote for, it is the perception that your candidates have more substance. The biggest hurdle for GOP candidates right now is the GOP party leadership. Adams

Awful Choice | ||
|
I am packing my bags as we speak to move out of Brookhaven. Even the mention of Carol Bissonette as
Supervisor makes me what to get out of here. She was a horrible councilwoman and would make a much worse supervisor. Is she going to become Ed Hennessey and turn her back on her party? Actually I could understand it since the party wants nothing to do with her. There are very few in the 6th Council District who have anything good to say about her. Most civic groups hate her so she would be a horrible choice for supervisor. |

spoke to a Rep insider today. Bissonette is NOT their supervisor candidate, Bonner and Romaine are running for their respective seats on the Tonw Council, Morris is NOT running for highway, Wilson is NOT running for clerk. |

joethetaxpayer, what are you talking about Zeldin for Supervisor. My Hale Mary comment is for the lede thread that has Carol Bissonette for Supervisor and
Zeldin used to dump Romaine and Wilutis to dump Bonner and yet running Lesko's deputy, Walsh for re-election. This entire ticket is from fantasy baseball?

Zeldin would at least knock on 2000 doors. He could actually make it work in a small district. Bisonette would be a bold move! I like this line up, and I'm
a Dem.

I would like to see Zeldin for Supervisor. The guy is young and energetic. I think a Lesko-Zeldin race would be fun to watch! It could be a real battle.

Zeldin can't win super. He can win 6th.

Maybe Zeldin could beat Kate Browning for Legislator. We need someone to take her out.

Mr. Suffolk,
Even after his congressional run? He got his name out there. I think he could make it close, taking politics out of it, I think it would be a fun race. |

Come on. Lesko JUST won -- convincingly. The voters are not going to cast him out already. Zeldin proved he can't make a dent in a big race. That said, if
he knocked on 3000 doors in a tiny district, he could win there. He's better known than any Dem in the 6th.
And Veritas, I think Mazz is same in his district, but he sure got his clock cleaned in the Special.
