So it's official according to Newsday, Fred is leaving the Republican party to join the "Independence" party where he will be siding with the Democrats. Translation: Switching to Democrat was too risky. Just say you're now Independent and you're free to wander to the Democrat side any time you like.
So bottom line is. He is claiming the Independence line, and hoping that he'll happen to pickup the Democrat line and Communist Working party line as...

Just read the findings of the supposed impartial officer who heard the James Walter 3020A case. Can't believe this guy is back in the classroom. Wouldn't want my daughter in his class. Talk about union bias. This state is completely screwed up when they tilt the playing field so much in favor of the unions.

It was in the News-Review on Thursday. Pretty much says Amper is corrupt and sits on his hands while certain projects in the Pine Barrens get passed. Donors to Amper are largely builders who he bullies into donations, Levy says, and in return Amper lets their projects go.
